Established in 1985, Knobley Mountain Hauling, Inc., has been providing residential and commercial waste removal to our neighbors for over 37 years. We strive to maintain a standard of excellence within our community.
Donna M. Dayton, Owner and President, purchased the company in 2015, with the intention of maintaining the excellent service our customers have known for years. Donna was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and relocated to Ridgeley, WV in 2010, when she married her husband, Buck Dayton. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a BS degree in Physical Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother. Donna is also a personal trainer and has an avid love for horses.
After purchasing the company from the previous owners, Rodney and Sharon Knotts, Donna began exploring and implementing new upgrades to software and technology to make our routes more efficient. She brought Knobley Mountain Hauling to the web with the launch of our website, online bill pay with credit card/electronic processing, and email correspondence. Since her time here, she has broadened our services to provide dumpsters for commercial customers and residential projects. We have expanded our service area from the Frankfort District of Mineral County, WV to our neighbors in parts of Allegany County, MD.
“At Knobley Mountain Hauling, we strive to provide the best customer service possible. During the pandemic of 2020 and beyond, many businesses reduced their services and limited staff to automated voice prompts. However, when you call here, you will always talk to a person. We will listen to your concerns and make every effort to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. I believe we provide, not only the best, but also the most reliable and economical service in the area. As a wife and mother, it is also important to me to provide a family oriented work environment for our employees. At the end of the day, the most important thing is to care for our customers and community, while keeping our staff safe.”- Donna M. Dayton
In West Virginia, Knobley Mountain Hauling is regulated by the Public Service Commission of WV.
